where are you all??

How come no comments since my last post? What's your excuse, been asleep, or something?

One of our more memorable exploits was having all 41 (remember one has gone off to Italy) waiting for the number 2 bus into Downtown. Deb, the driver was fabulous and she put the bus 'out of service' and drove us one downtown with the only stops being for drop offs.

Great, great restaurant last night. Snow Goose is a quilters must for dinner. Its a really large building that also contains their brewery. I think I've already suggested their website.

Had our gift swap last night when we got back to the hotel.

All downhill from here.

Hi Debs,
Just Dad. I thought I had better say some thing as no one else had it must have been Saturday night and every one busy . It is raining here and the dogs had me up at 4.30 so don't complain about getting up early, then for some reason would not settle.Possibly the new pups next door because their light was on.
Pepe thinks its great getting up that early. Mum of course sleeps through it all and wakes at 9am.

Looks as if you had a good time on the boat.{paddle steamer}.
Don't forget what you buy today you will have to bring home I hope the suitcase is big enough. I reckon you will be bringing 3 home.We will have enough room for 3 in the car but any more and you just might have to walk!

love Mum And Dad
Have a good flight home .

Hi Mum (Annette P). You must be starting to feel queasy - the end is nigh!! However there will be a very happy cat and grandchildren when you return!! Since you've left we have made the weather quite "Alaskan" for your return, but no snow and glaciers. Think I will be working this week, so it will be straight back into Gran duties. See you on Tuesday!

Hi Mum. Just spoke to Tasha - she is doing well. Twinges but no labour yet. Due to deliver early am on the 27th so you can probably give them a quick call when you get home (or not) your call. Dad is well - I rang him last night and he seemed fine though I think his back was really bothering him. He will of course enjoy having you back as you know. Horace can keep him occupied for 3 weeks but then I think he needs human company! :) Kids are well - though Leo does have a cold. We are off out to dinner tonight for Frances' birthday. Nothing fancy. Not much else is news. It sounds like you've had a great time and will have loads of stories and photos to share when you get home. We look forward to it. Safe journey home. Lots of love. Tricia

Guess you are both excited about coming home.NOT!!! It has cooled down a bit and been wet on and off but here at the beach we just take that in our stride. Have a market day coming up next weekend and wouldn't you know it Granny is looking after the boys for the week so not much will be done but I'm sure we will have some fun.Have been busy doing the you know what, getting there slowly.Am off for my beach walk now so you two behave and we will look out for you when you fly over.

Hi Jenny. No comments yesterday as the computer needed a fix up. Have had a quiet weekend, but did manage to make a bag to keep the tic tac toe game in for Jack. The weather has really changed here and is more like winter everyday (but it isn't quite as cold as where you have been). Cath C rang the other night to say she got your postcard. Spoke to Ponie as well - sounds like the house is all go and they hope to get the framing up. She is very excited!!!

I can't believe the number of bags you ladies have - and some of you have been sending parcels home. I hope it all fits in the car (or (as Roger said) do I need to be a van to the airport??!!).

Hope you all have a safe trip home - we can't wait to hear all the stories!!!

Love Andrea and Roger

Jenny - just checked my emails - Allison has emailed to say that Sue had a boy (James) on the 20th weighing in at 9lb 3oz. He has not been well so far, so hope he gets better. She says Perth is lovely and warm.... unlike here!
