All at sea

Hi there. Wow! What a day. Glacier Bay. Guess what, it's full of glaciers. Amazing.

Formal dinner tonight. We all look stunning.

More tomorrow.

Lesley, Lynn and Mum (Glennys)

This is a 'two-for-the-price-of-one' post. First from Dad (David)in Waipu. He's an avid reader of the blog (in between busily managing three property projects!) and says...

Hi to the Kaipara trio.

Will Peter be able to fit all your purchases in his car?

Do you want me to take the ute and trailer to the airport?

David.

And then from me...

Just wonderful to read your blog, Lesley. A number of my MBA colleagues are bloggers, and you're right up there with them with your delightful writing. It's fab to have a vivid first-hand account of what all the "crafty women" are up to!

Mum and Lynn - trust that you've been leading the nightly dancing on the ship. I'm sure you're showing everyone aboard how Northlanders party! Look forward to seeing all the photos. :) Oh, and don't forget to try the ice wine!

Bonjournee,

Bevan

Hi Mum
Thanks for your email. I just rang Dad and he is well. He says to tell you he had a drink and his normal argument with Joan last night! :) He sounds fine. Joan rang me yesterday also and read me her postcard. The kids got theirs yesterday also and were thrilled. Leo was going to take it for news today - but forgot. He seems to be really enjoying school at the moment and is strengthening his friendships with a couple of the boys which is good. He went to the Boat Show on Sunday with a friend of his from Kindy and thought that was wonderful. He came home with all sorts of "freebies" a pen, a sticker, a ballon and a huge blow up surf board. He thought it was Christmas! Meg is well - though she tried to pull a sicky this morning - but I am fairly confident that this was a test of her drama skills. I've let the teacher know and if genuine signs arise she will call me. I have just come back from a walk with Rochelle - we did all the hills and are feeling it. John is enjoying the use of your car until such a time as we sort out other arrangements. No news from Tash or Geoff yet so I guess that means it is all alright. I hope you are still having fun and the queues aren't driving you mad! We all miss you and look forward to hearing your stories and photos on your return!
Lots of love
Tricia
